Dr. Julie Ett is a thirty-year veteran teacher. A recipient of the Who's Who of American Teachers, she received a Bachelor of Science Degree with Teacher Certification from Appalachian State University in Boone, NC. She was awarded a Master of Education Degree, with a Middle School Certification, from the University of North Carolina in Greensboro, NC. She earned her Ed.D. in Educational Leadership with a specialty in Teacher Education in Urban Schools, from the University of Southern California. Dr. Ett began her career in Greensboro, NC, teaching at-risk students at Lincoln Middle School. She joined Los Angeles County Office of Education as a teacher in the Juvenile Court Division. She also taught for LACOE in the Division of Alternative Education in the Santa Clarita Community Day School. Dr. Ett was twice named Teacher of the Year for her Principal's Administrative Unit in both the Juvenile Court and Alternative Education Divisions. She currently teaches in the LACOE Division of Student Programs at Christa McAuliffe High School located at the Challenger Memorial Youth Center in Lancaster, CA.
