General Session - Keynote: Rock Star Lesson Design
As we prepare our students for a modern workforce that is highly adaptable, creative, and changing teachers need better lesson plans than we’ve been historically supplied for the “factory model” classroom. Jon Corippo will be sharing lesson design ideas and mindsets that can adapt to many levels and subject areas. Jon has been textbook-free since 1999 and wants more teachers to see the powerful effect of being creators of their classroom learning.

Cook up some awesome learning with the Iron Chef Lesson Plan
The Iron Chef Lesson Planning concept brings a lively hands-on approach to initial instruction, weaves in technology and has kids presenting to each other in only 10 minutes. Based on the time-tested jig-saw lesson, but with a high-tech twist, the Iron Chef has been successfully used in many types of classrooms. Best of all, Iron Chef Lessons mean far less prep and no after class grading for teachers. Join Jon Corippo and special guest Ramsey Mussallam for this rollicking session.
