For the last 10 years, Eileen Davin has been teaching incarcerated youth using California State Standard, Common Core Standards, Social Emotional Learning, and Project Based Learning. She holds an Education Specialist Instruction credential; Single Subject, Health Sciences credential and Deaf and Hard of Hearing credential. She also has a Master's in Speech and Language Pathology. Eileen is a certified Mindfulness Educator and has successfully motivated her students to utilize Mindfulness everyday as a life skill. Student feedback indicates the profound impact of Mindfulness in helping them deal with the stresses of their environment, both in the classroom and into their everyday lives. Her teaching experience spans over 20 years and includes working with emotionally disturbed and "at-risk" youth who have drug and alcohol problems and/or are gang involved. Eileen also taught at Napa State Hospital with the deaf, emotionally disturbed population.
