Tom Kostic is the Field Program Coordinator at the Markkula Center for Applied Ethics at Santa Clara University. Kostic is the key trainer for character-Based Literacy Curriculum, which is now in use in the majority of court-community schools in California and hundreds of regular and alternative classrooms throughout the United States. Kostic is also a community school teacher for the Orange County Department of Education's Alternative Court Community Education School and Services (ACCESS) program in Anaheim where his classroom serves as a model CBL classroom and laboratory of new projects. Kostic frequently gives presentations and workshops for teachers and administrators on Character-Based Literacy.
