I possess more than fifteen years of progressive experience in the education field. My professional history includes positions teaching in challenging settings with diverse clientele from ELD students to AP students. I have also been successful in departmental and History program leadership positions.
Since 2005, I have been an associate writer of formal grant proposals and evaluation reports for public and private institutions of education. Moreover, I have participated on seven WASC (Western Association of Schools and Colleges) committees visiting diverse school settings throughout the state of California.
Most recently, my responsibilities include teacher, WASC coordinator, facilitator for Adult Education, Common Core Instructional Specialist (Social Science), Highly Qualified Teacher (HQT Social Science), Leadership facilitator, Home/Hospital Teacher, History Department representative at Orange Community Day School (Alternative Education) and as a mentor for group home and foster youths in the Orange Unified School District Connections Mentoring Program.
